![]() When I travel to Paris I stay in a remarkably charming apartment in the heart of the city between the Opera and the Madeleine. It is an intimate space with wood paneling and a stone fireplace. Because the beds and utilities are pulled out from the cabinets (there are also a washer and dryer for your laundry), the small space is very comfortable. One wall is equiped with a fully functioning kitchen. There is a separate bathroom with shower. The apartment has cross ventilation and a beautiful view of Paris' roof tops. In one window the Sacré Coeur stands proud, while the other window enjoys the elegant roofs of the Louvre and far to the right is the Eiffel Tower. The proprietor is a talented artist who has made copies of works by Gauguin and Michelangelo and attached them to the ceiling. The decor of the space lends an artistic atmosphere to your stay. There is also a television and CD player when you want to kick back. The photo on the right is a sunset seen from the apartment. For a better idea of the space and details, visit the owner's site at: www.paris-studio.com Click on the box below if you'd like to see the above brochure in the original Tapissary, as it appears in Venticello's Travel agency. |
![]() The top view is of St Augustine at sunset. The picture at bottom left is the Eiffel Tower as seen while looking out the window at an angle. The view at bottom right is of St Augustine in the daytime. Beyond that is the Arc de Triomphe. The most impressive is of the Sacré Coeur, but I am still searching for that photo. The birds are from Venticello. |
